¡Bienvenida! I am a Ramon y Cajal research scientist at the Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias. I study the formation and evolution of galaxies by studying their stellar populations properties. For simplicity, old and coeval systems in the local Universe such as massive elliptical galaxies are usual targets of my observations but I get easily distracted with other galaxy-related projects. Formerly, I was a Marie Curie Fellow at the University of California Santa Cruz and at the Max-Planck-Institut für Astronomie, and member of the SAGES collaboration.
