Started with the project on Blue Ccompact Dwarf Galaxies. Casiana Muñoz Tuñon suggested trying to find SDSS galaxies that may be BCDs during quiescense, i.e., when their characteristic starburst has gone, or has not started yet. Ricardo Amorin et al had just finished a series of works characterizing the host galaxy of a large number of BCDs and the (good) idea was finding galaxies with those properties.
