DESCRIPTION:Over abundances of Lithium in stars of red giant branch: Curren
 t Status\nEswar Reddy\n\nAbstract: A small group of giants on RGB show ano
 malously large amounts of Li in theirphotospheres. In some cases, Li abund
 ance exceeds stars' natal clouds (A(Li) = 3.2~dex)suggesting  additio
 n of fresh Li during stars' evolution on RGB. However, the mechanismthat i
 s responsible for such large enhancement is not understood. In this talk, 
 I will describeobservational results till date,  possible scenarios f
 or its origin and implications to Galactic Lienrichment.
