SUMMARY:The first Giga-years of the Milky Way halo and its satellites told
 by RRLs
DESCRIPTION:The first Giga-years of the Milky Way halo and its satellites t
old by RRLs\nDrs. Giuliana Fiorentino\n\nThe first Gigayears of our Galact
ic halo can be probed by using ancient stellar populations as traced by R
R Lyrae stars. Today, with the advancement in our knowledge of RR Lyrae p
roperties belonging to the Halo and to Milky Way satellite systems (Globul
ar clusters and dwarf galaxies) we are able to provide solid constraints o
n the link between these stellar systems. Here, we present some recent re
sults concerning the Halo formation by using a detailed evolutionary anal
ysis of RR Lyrae stars for which chemical abundances are available.
