SUMMARY:Evidence for sub-populations in Globular Clusters - their propertie
s and relations with the cluster properties
DESCRIPTION:Evidence for sub-populations in Globular Clusters - their prope
rties and relations with the cluster properties\nDr. Santi Cassisi\n\nThe
last few years have witnessed a growing amount of empirical evidence point
ing to the existence of multiple stellar populations in some Galactic glob
ular clusters. It is also becoming more and more clear that clusters, host
ing multiple stellar populations, do share some common properties, but als
o differ from each other in various aspects.\n\nIn this talk, I will revie
w the recent results concerning the presence of multiple stellar populatio
ns in stellar clusters, emphasizing the (different) properties of the subp
opulations in the various clusters, and how they have been interpreted so
far. I will discuss also the global characteristics of "peculiar" clusters
  - hosting multiple populations - from different points of view, and compa
re them with "normal" clusters, to try and shed some light on their nature
  and origin.
