PERFORMANCE
Imaging Mode
We have estimated the limiting magnitude using
broad
band filters for a S/N ratio equals 5 and good observing conditions
with
seeing of 0.75 arcsecond. The sky brightness is taken as
Z=17.3 mag/sq.
arcsec, J=16.0 mag/sq. arcsec, H=14.0 mag/sq. arcsec and K=13 mag/sq.
arcsec.
We also show the variation of limiting magnitude as function of
the seeing.
Spectroscopic Mode
We have estimated the limiting magnitude in
spectroscopy
using R=1000 , for a S/N ratio equals 3 and good observing conditions
with
seeing of 0.5 arcsecond (slit width matches the seeing).
