Rooms will be available at the Taburiente Playa Hotel. A number of apartments is also available. Daily rates in pesetas for a room, including 4.5% local taxes, are per person. If you prefer to share a double room with another delegate, prices are cheaper (see table below).

For practical reasons, all hotel bookings will be handled by a local Travel Agent. The company selected is Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with offices world-wide. This company has worked extensively in the past with the IAC's travel department. You can contact CWT on the following numbers:

The deadline is ***** 15 April 1998 *****. You will receive a confirmation by fax once CWT has confirmed your booking with the relevant hotel/apartment.

Participants who, having booked their hotels, simply do not turn up on the date of arrival, risk charges equivalent to the first night of accommodation. Cancellations or changes of arrival dates should be notified to CWT at least 72 hours in advance in order to avoid charges.
