The first network-wide meeting of the SOLAIRE Network takes place in Leuven, Dec 17th-19th Print

The first network-wide meeting of the Solaire Marie-Curie European Network is going to take place in Leuven (Belgium), December 17th through 19th, 2007. The meeting will be hosted by the Solaire team at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. The main objective of the meeting is for the Solaire team members to get a direct acquaintance with the research and the researchers of other teams and to foster collaboration between teams, linking the different approaches and techniques of the network. Different training activities for the Early-Stage Researchers (ESRs) and Experienced Researchers (ERs) of the network are planned.

Postdoctoral position at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias Print

The SOLAIRE network announces an opening for 1 postdoctoral position . The appointing institution is the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias, Tenerife, Spain. The successful candidate will do research within the collaborative packages of the network. The call for applications started September 27th and will end November 8th. Applicants can be recent post-doctoral researchers with a maximum of 10 years research experience after obtaining the graduation or master's title that allowed them to embark in doctoral studies. The duration of the appointment is 36 months. The successful applicant will be able to profit from the training and networking opportunities offered by SOLAIRE. Finance of these positions will be following the rules and salary levels prescribed by the European Commission.

The SOLAIRE network announces an opening for 2 postdoctoral positions. The appointing institutions are the Observatoire de Paris-Meudon and the University of Utrecht. The successful candidates will do research within the collaborative packages of the network. The call for application started March 20th and will end May 1st. Applicants can be recent post-doctoral researchers with a maximum of 10 years research experience after obtaining the graduation or master's title that allowed them to embark in doctoral studies. The duration of the appointment is 2 years (position in Paris) and 3 years (position in Utrecht).

The successful applicants will be able to profit from the training and networking opportunities offered by SOLAIRE. Finance of these positions will be following the rules and salary levels prescribed by the European Commission.

 
The SOLAIRE network opens a call for application for 10 postgraduate positions in its nodes (CLOSED) Print

 

The call for applications for postgraduate positions of the Solaire network started on Feb 1st. The network offers 10 contracts for postgraduate students to pursue doctoral studies in its member universities and institutes. Applicants can be recent postgraduates (or undergraduates graduating in 2007) from any country in the world.

The successful applicants will be able to profit from the training and networking opportunities offered by SOLAIRE. Finance of these positions will be following the rules and salary levels prescribed by the European Commission.
