We present H spectroscopic observations and detailed modelling of the Balmer filaments in the supernova
remnant Tycho (SN 1572). We used GHaFaS (Galaxy Ha Fabry-P´erot Spectrometer) on the William Herschel
Telescope with a 3.40-3.40 field-of-view, 0.200 pixel scale and instr = 8:1 kms
