EMIR Detector
EMIR has a HAWAII-2 FPA dedector manufactured by Teledyne. The HAWAII-2 infrared detector is a HgCdTe µm/px) sensitive to IR light. The detector operates between 1 and 5 µm and optimized in the K band (2.1 µm) at cryoginic temperatures.
