Full free day with optional excursions:

• Parque Nacional Cañadas del Teide: Guided tour to the Teide National Park that surrounds the vulcano Teide (3718m high) overseeing the island of Tenerife. The excursion includes a visit to the facilities of the Teide Astronomical Observatory.
• Observatorio Roque de los Muchachos: We would like to offer the possibility to visit the Astronomical Observatory Roque de los Muchachos, which is one of the most important astronomical sites in the northern hemisphere. This excursion entails an early (short) flight from Tenerife to La Palma island and would require extra expenses from the participants of ~100 € to purchase the flight tickets. This excursion could be organized only if enough participants show interest.
