Research Fellow. Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias. Spain. 2017 -
I am the PI of the group 'Galaxy Evolution in Galaxy Clusters'.
-
Research Fellow. School of Physics and Astronomy. Univ. of St Andrews. UK. 2013-2016
As a member of the SEDmorph team, I was leading the 2D photometric decomposition of both a sample of low- and high-redshift galaxies extracted from the CALIFA and CANDELS (the latter actually represents the Ph.D. thesis of my student J. Argyle), respectively, to establish links among the properties of the stellar structures with cosmic time.

Juan de la Cierva Fellow. Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias. Spain. 2012-2013
-
CONSOLIDER-GTC Fellow. Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias. Spain. 2008-2012
This fellowship allowed me to pursue my independent research about the joint evolution of bulges and bars. I studied the role of environments on bar formation finding a bimodal effect depending on galaxy mass.
I actively participated in fostering the early scientific exploitation of the GTC 10.4m telescope (Spain). I became an expert on scanning tomography by using the tunable filters. This incursion into the instrumental side of astronomy led to a technical publication and motivated my current participation in several instrumental projects
