Presentation
Our group is focused on the study of the X-ray binaries, a type of interacting binaries formed by a companion star and a compact object, either a neutron star or a black hole.
We are based at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias in the Canary Islands, Spain. It is an international institution granted with the 'Severo Ochoa Center of Excellence' award with remarkable facilities placed in the European Northern Observatory, which include among others the 10.4-m Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC) telescope.
Here you will find more information about our research, publications and the members of the group.
