Research WP
The DAGAL network targets six key areas of extragalactic research tackling fundamental questions concernign the origin and evolution of galaxies:
WP2- History of star formation in Galaxies
WP3- Disk Growth
WP4- Structure and dynamics of Galaxies
WP5- Galaxy assembly using the Tully-Fisher relation
WP6- Structure components of disk Galaxies
WP7- Dynamical evolution of Galaxies
Research in these areas is being carried out as collaborative projects between the DAGAL nodes in a multi-disciplinary form. The training of the early-stage and experienced researchers appointed by the network will be done in the framework of these collaborations and within one or more of those research fields.
