There are many charter flights as well as scheduled flights operating several times daily from most spanish and european cities. Tenerife is regularly connected to 16 foreign airports and has direct charter flights with more than 112 foreign cities. There are two airports on the island of Tenerife, one on the north side ( Tenerife Norte , TFN , also known as "Aeropuerto de Los Rodeos" ), and the other on the south of the island ( Tenerife Sur , TFS , also known as "Aeropuerto Reina Sofia" ). Both airports are at about 2.5 hours flying from Madrid, or about 3 hours from Barcelona. Most international flights go to Tenerife Sur Airport (TFS), while most domestic flights go to Tenerife Norte Airport (TFN). Three airlines fly scheduled flights from the spanish mainland: Iberia, Air Europa and Spanair.

GETTING TO THE HOTEL:
Transport on the island relies mainly on public transport (buses) and taxis. Taxis are relatively inexpensive compared to european standards. The local bus company is called TITSA, and the public buses are painted bright green. The local name for for the bus is "guagua" or "autobus". There is a telephone number (+34 922 531 300) where you can request more information (24 hours information in both languages English and Spanish). - If you are arriving at Tenerife North Airport (TFN, Los Rodeos): You could catch a bus to La Laguna, but we recomend to use a taxi, as TFN is very close to La Laguna. It will cost about 800 pts. from the airport to the hotel.
- If you are arriving at Tenerife Sur Airport (TFS): You can either catch a taxi (about 7000 pts. from the airport to the hotel in La Laguna), but more probably you will prefer to go by bus to Santa Cruz (main bus terminal).
- TFS airport to SANTA CRUZ main bus terminal:

There are several bus lines departing from the Sta. Cruz bus terminal to different places,
stopping in La Laguna. Price of one way ticket: 150 pts.
Line 101, (Sta. Cruz to Puerto de la Cruz, stop in La Laguna), Departure times: 06:00 to 21:30,
every 30 minutes. Line 102, (Sta. Cruz to Puerto de la Cruz, stop in La Laguna), Departure
times: 06:00, 06:30, 07:00, until 20:30 every 30 minutes, 21:15, 22:30, 24:00
