Long incoming visits (outstanding professors)
Enhancing existing networks of beneficial international research collaborations between the IAC staff and renowned researchers of other leading research institutions is one of the main goals of the Severo Ochoa mobility program. Visiting Proffessors will significantly contribute to strengthen the science made by each of the five strategic research lines at the IAC.
IAC Staff will propose long-term visits of internationally recognised Professors to the Severo Ochoa Coordination Committee (CCSO). Such visits can be (up to 12 months) and their related costs of travel, insurance, accommodation, subsistence and other eligible costs are fully supported by the Mobility Programme.
HOW TO APPLY TO THIS MODALITY?:
The forms (available at the IAC intranet) should be filled by the scientist in charge at the IAC and sent to the Severo Ochoa management team at least 2 months in advance of the visit. All applications for Visiting Professors requested under Severo Ochoa Programme shall be approved by the CCSO. Visits can be proposed for any period till December 2019.
