Welcome to Padova
City of Padova, a captivating blend of history, culture, and contemporary charm. Nestled in the heart of northern Italy's Veneto region, Padova (also known as Padua) is a city that seamlessly marries ancient traditions with modern vibrancy.
Immerse yourself in Padova's rich history as you wander through its cobblestone streets and uncover architectural treasures. The city is home to the world-famous Scrovegni Chapel (UNESCO site), adorned with stunning frescoes by Giotto, and the historic University of Padova, one of Europe's oldest universities.
Experience the warmth and hospitality of the locals, who take pride in sharing the beauty of their city. Whether you're strolling through historic squares, enjoying a leisurely espresso in a charming cafe or refreshing yourself with the famous Spritz aperitif (invented in Veneto), Padova welcomes you with open arms.
Padova's strategic location makes it an ideal base for exploring the iconic city of Venice, relax at the Abano-Montegrotto SPAs, experience the Opera in Verona, climb the gorgeous Dolomites, or tan at the beaches of Jesolo or Chioggia: all locations just a short distance away.
