The Very Small Array (VSA) was the result of a scientific collaboration between the University of Cambridge, the University of Manchester and the Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias (Tenerife). It operated from the Teide Observatory in the period 2000-2008. Funding for this experiment was provided by PPARC (UK) and IAC (Tenerife).
