Registration instructions
The school is primarily intended for doctoral candidates and recent postdocs in any field of research in Astronomy, or in related research areas. Those interested in attending the second EDUCADO Training School can apply to attend using the online form below . We request a letter of reference from your thesis advisor (or Head of Department) to be sent by email to educado-team@iac.es . All information should be submitted before April 25th, 2025. Selected candidates will be informed by May 2nd, 2025 and instructions on how to proceed with the payment of the registration fee will then be sent.
Please do not purchase non-refundable flights or accommodation before confirmation from the organisers that your registration has been accepted and you can attend.
Attendance requires a registration fee, which covers:
- Welcome cocktail
- Morning and afternoon coffee during the lecture days
- Lunch during all lecture days, from Monday to Friday, June 16th to 20th, 2025
- Conference dinner on Thursday evening June 19th
- Visit to the Teide Observatory by bus, Tenerife, on June 18th
The registration fee is 350€.
A limited number of grants may be provided by the organization to cover the registration fee, and /or help with travel or accomodation costs. Those applicants requiring registration grants can indicate this while applying, and must include a concise motivation statement. All information should be submitted to the IAC by the strict deadline of 25th April 2025. The selected participants will be informed by 2nd May. As we have very limited funds available for assistance, those will be targeted to colleagues from low- and middle-income countries.
Hotel bookings are handled directly by the participants.
