Several institutions, of one or another way, are been tie to the Virtual Acoustic Space project.
The pillars that sustain the project are the University of La Laguna, mainly through the Department of Physiology of their Faculty of Medicine and the Institute of Astrophysics of the Canary Islands, through their Area of Instrumentation. These two institutions are the ones in charge to coordinate the project, to form investigators and to provide the facilities and the technician equipment adapted for the put into gear
We have the aid of other collaborating institutions that provide facilities and extra financing to us.
Financial Organizations:
Government of the Canary Islands
The support of the Government of the Canary Islands has been in form of funds for the financing of some phases of our investigation. In July 1996 we received from the Government of the Canary Islands a subvention of 16 million pesetas (95400 $ aprox.), in answer to our proposal presented in the public aid of concession of subventions for the accomplishment of projects of technological innovation (1995 July).
