The funding of 16 millions of pesetas (95400 $ aprox.) on the part of the Government of the Canary Islands is granted.

The Monosource Experiment is completed, that compares the experiences of externalization and location in blind people and people with normal vision, working with a maximun os 5 static sources.
23 October 1996
First visualization of phospenes, during a Monosurce Experiment made with Ana María H.M., a blind volunteer. She declares to perceive lights in response to the externalized sound.
29 October 1996
We asked for the patent P-96002283, that gathers the idea of the project and describes a viable practical accomplishment.
30 December 1996
The PITER program financing is granted, by a value of 15 millions of pesetas ( $89,400 aprox.).
