Imaging with EMIR

The filter wheel has 16 positions, 14 for filters, a clear aperture and a closed position (the disc itself blocks the light in a position where no aperture is machined). The FOV in this mode is 6,7x6.7 arcmin.

EMIR band filters cover a spectral range of 1.6 microns, from 0.9 to 2.5, with three set of filters, broad and narrow band, plus some order sorting elements. The following table provides the measured parameters at the IAC optical laboratory at room temperature at the centre of the filter and with normal incidence (Broad Band: Bb; Narrow Band: Nb and Order Sorting: Os).
